Krakatao Volcano lies in Sunda Strait between Sumatra and Java Islands. It belongs to Lampung Province. Krakatau Volcanic Complex consists of Rakata, Sertung, Panjang, and Anak Krakatau islands. Anak Krakatau is the currently active center at the volcano and emerged from the sea in 1930. Krakatau became famous after the paroxysmal eruption on August 27, 1883.

The Western half of Rakata and Verlaten were designated a national monument in July 1919. The Eastern half was added in 1925 and the islands were included in the Ujung Kulon Reserve, which had been established in 1921. In 1982, Ujung Kulon was made a National Park. Approximate travel time of One hour and 30 minutes by Speed Boat from our resort.

There are some lagoons created by the eruptions in which are homes for Red Snapper, Ginat Trivially, Grouper and many reef fishes (Great for fishing). The scenery of mount Krakatau is also fantastic to view.
